Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. The variable speed brushless motor delivers 0-3,400 RPM, 0-3,600 IPM, and up to 1,500 in. lbs. of max torque for efficient fastening. It has a compact design at 5 in. long and weighs only 3.3 lbs. I love my new blender, product as described. My only complaint is the condition of the box, it looked as though it had been opened at some point. Maybe a open box item or a return. I had planned on keeping the box for storage but it was so damaged upon delivery, every corner taped, that I couldn't get it back in the box. Literally, the box fell apart. It looked pretty rough but fortunately the mixer itself was intact and unbroken. Also, it was shipped in the original box, not wrapped. See photos.
