The vacuum has a push button power selection for operation. Compact and ergonomic design for operator comfort and, at 2.7 lbs., is lightweight for reduced operator fatigue. A bagless cloth filtration system allows for easier cleaning and quicker debris disposal. Get up to 83-minutes of continuous use from a single fully charged 18V 5.0 Ah LXT battery (sold separately). The powerful Makita-built motor delivers up to 53 CFM. The vacuum and included nozzle and attachment feature the distinctive teal and black trade dress. Its part of Makita's expanding 18V LXT system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion Batteries with the Star Symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.

I love my new blender, product as described. My only complaint is the condition of the box, it looked as though it had been opened at some point. Maybe a open box item or a return. I had planned on keeping the box for storage but it was so damaged upon delivery, every corner taped, that I couldn't get it back in the box. Literally, the box fell apart. It looked pretty rough but fortunately the mixer itself was intact and unbroken. Also, it was shipped in the original box, not wrapped. See photos.
